Rescue
When personnel enter confined spaces, work at height, or operate in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) environments, having a trained, equipped rescue team standing by is not optional, it is a regulatory requirement and a moral obligation. American Safety Services fields a professional Rescue Team experienced in high-angle vertical and horizontal rescue operations across the full range of oilfield and midstream environments.
What We Do
Our Rescue Team verifies that every environment is unquestionably safe before work begins. This includes performing atmospheric testing, conducting thorough hazard assessments, and reviewing detailed rescue plans with the work crew prior to entry or elevated work. Our team has successfully performed rescue standby and active rescue operations at:
-
Tank batteries
-
Tank cleanouts and frac tanks
-
Gas plants and crude storage tanks
-
Pipelines and midstream assets
-
Seal repair operations
-
Excavation sites
